False gods invoked at
‘sanctity of marriage’ rally

So, the Antichrist is going to be a homosexual! Wonder if he will be good looking?? I read this according to the Rev. Lewis A. Bartlett and comments by Brad Jones, those who protested against gay marriage. Boy, what a group.

I was so comforted to notice how alive Jesus is in that anti-gay mob. It’s always good to see Jesus so well represented by such a fine group of people. I’m sure Jesus was so proud and really cheering them on in his very own rally pep box situated nearby the protest. All invisible of course. But I’m sure each one of them felt the warm, comforting glow of Jesus all around them. And boy, I know Jesus was surely shouting, “go bud go,” as the cops beat, mauled and abused all the faggots. Yes, Jesus really loves to see rejected, outcast, different people like the fags get beat down by the cops.

You know, it’s hypocrites just like these, the Jones and Bartlett crew, that make me sick to my stomach. It’s their arrogance and just plain ignorance that sickens me. These people, and all like them, would not know Jesus if he should walk up and hug them. They would quickly call him queer and knock him down. Their actual knowledge of Jesus and his teachings is so limited that it makes them appear stupid and this is sad.

I often wonder if these so-called Christians have ever opened their Bible and read the Book of Amos. It is quite obvious that their ministers have never preached from the Book of Amos. It is not possible that people such as this have ever truly read this book of the Bible, for they could not have exhibited the behavior they did and call themselves Christian if they had.

The Book of Amos is my favorite book in the entire Bible because it speaks of the exact same type of people as we are confronted with today. During the time of Amos there were many prominent, uppity people and these people threw huge get-togethers and big feasts for all the uppity crowd, all in the name of religion to give praise to God. They really thought that as long as they were holding these events, raising their hands to praise God, singing the praises, that God was surely pleased. Well, he wasn’t. So, he told Amos to go into the land of all of these religious people and tell them that for their transgressions, they would feel God’s wrath seven times -– what were their transgressions?

Well, God was just not pleased with their uppity, arrogant mistreatment and judgements of the people. It seemed Amos told them while they lay on their fine couches in their fine homes the poor were laying in the streets. Yeah, while they were having all their feasts and singing all their praises to Him, the poor didn’t have shoes on their feet. Amos asked, “And you think this pleases God that you do nothing about these abominations.” Yes, he said, you hold your grand ceremonies in the name of God while there is no justice at the gate and “you think this pleases God?” The gate was essentially the courtroom where people were tried for crimes. And God said he was not pleased that there was no justice for the poor. The entire Book of Amos reveals how God is angry and totally displeased with this mob of uppity, detached people who ignored and mistreated the poor and less fortunate in the land. And boy, did God lay waste to their empire.

This is such a small book but its power is immense. It is a book you will rarely hear any minister speak of much less quote from. It is a book which clearly reveals that God would never stand with or beside any Rev. Bartlett or any Brad Jones in their angry degradations against gays or lesbians. It shows a God of love and concern for the poor, those being unjustly persecuted or prosecuted, people like us.

I never want to know a God that Brad Jones knows. He can have that God. That is a false God, a madman creation for the sole use of lies and mistreatment of people. These people have created and manufactured a phantom, a false entity for no other purpose than to protect and enhance their own selfish and self-righteous goals. And they shall be the ones surprised in the end.

Quality Forward and the Downtown Social Issues Task Force are preparing an authoritarian war on graffiti because they know all about graffiti’s ability to protect whole neighborhoods from rampant speculation and rent hikes by improving (reducing) property values, thus maintaining affordability. Quality Forward is even now organizing volunteer minions of gentrification to literally strip whole neighborhoods of that protection and open them up to the collective landlord’s orgy of speculative profiteering. Out here in the country, their war on private parts cars is similarly motivated.
