Mon., Nov. 22 • Public meeting to discuss non-housing community development issues -- such as expanding economic opportunities, improving public infrastructure, developing public facilities, and providing services that principally benefit low and moderate income persons -- as part of the City of Asheville's efforts to prepare a strategic plan determining priorities to spend more than $7,500,000 over the next five years. 2pm, YWCA 185 S. Tues., Dec. 14 • The hearing on the permit for the relocation of Dan Branch Creek has been rescheduled for this date (the hearing was set for Nov. 23). The new location of the hearing is Cove Lake State Park. Comments will be accepted until Dec. 24.
